Readers of a local newspaper were shocked to discover, that the mud-smeared, impoverished faces of the Parr & Hardshaw 1911 Darts Team were in fact created in Photoshop. The picture appeared in Waldo Allen’s popular coffin-dodger column, “Back in th’Ice Age”, and was purported to be genuine, but alarm bells rang when an eagle-eyed reader spotted signs of nutrition on one of the players’ faces. Ivor Remadonna, who is on disability, explains:- “It’s a well-known fact that health originated in the South, and didn’t make its way to these parts until the late 70s at least, so I instantly knew something was very wrong.” The paper has admitted to the deception, claiming that the postbag was light that week, and that the job was done by a graphics student at St Helens College, in exchange for some porno mags that had seen better days. Waldo Allen was unavailable for comment as it was opening time. Reporter - Briandriod |
