After months of deliberation, St Helens Council have decided to take this board into temporary public ownership. This decision has been made following consultation with the board shareholders and the boards contributing members. It is believed that by bringing the board into a period of nationalisation, this will better protect the many lurkers who are unwilling to contribute to prop up this ailing board any longer.
A suggested take over by rival board St Helens Connect mooted late last year would have brought new management and likely job cuts but this has been dismissed out of hand. It is business as usual at St Helens Celebrity News. So come one, come all, come dancing. |
For SHCN members, nothing much will change, new threads will be mundane as regards humour and distinctly one-dimensional as regards to debate . Brian Spencer of St Helens Council is keen to point out that members threads are safe, these will not be deleted and the board is still open to new and interesting contribution from anyone who has something to get off their chest. SHCN remains solvent.
